September 2014
Well, September is a distressing month. School starts, which equals to less reading time. I hate that, but there are still some awesome new releases in September, so at least we have something wonderful to anticipate!
1. The Infinite Sea (The Fifth Wave #2)
by Rick Yancey
The Fifth wave is a series about alien attack, and the first book is such a page-turner and kept me sitting on the edge throughout the entire book! P.S. there is also a movie coming!
2. Rooms
by Lauren Oliver
Who loves Lauren Oliver? Well, I do! And It says this book is "a story of family, ghosts, secrets and mystery", in which "the lives of the living and the dead intersect in shocking, surprising and moving ways" Sounds intriguing, right?
3. Winterspell
by Claire Legrand
A paranormal read with a gorgeous cover! I'm not sure if it's about witches or not (it sounds like one though) but there is this girl Clara, who is secretly trained in self-defense after her mother's murder. Then it also has a prince. After her home is being destroyed and her father being abducted, a dangerous adventure begins!
4. The Queen of Zombie Hearts (White Rabbit Chronicles #3)
by Gena Showalter
I really enjoyed the first book in this trilogy, but I haven't read the second book yet! Anyway, I'm still very excited for this third and final book to come out! If you want some different zombie books, read this trilogy!
5. Don't Touch
by Rachel M. Wilson
"A powerful story of a girl who is afraid to touch another person's skin, until the boy auditioning for Hamlet opposite her Ophelia gives her a reason to overcome her fears!"
It sounds like an uplifting story and it reminds me of Juliette in Shatter Me! I'm definitely interested in knowing why she is afraid to touch people and how she tackle her fears!
